Currently I have a 3.41 gpa i've did all pre-reqs except for two p.e. and microbiology. I'm applying to darton college, I heard they except 100 students but i'm still very scared that my hesi score will kill my dreams especially the a&p part, also i've heard that once you get in the program is extrmemly hard so most of the originals end up dropping out. what do you all think I will gladly take words of encouragment. thanks in advance

What was your A&P grade? And you say they accept 100, but do you know how many apply each year about? That makes a big difference
a&p 1 is a B and a&p 2 is going good so far,

everybody has their own opinion on how YOU will do in the program. just because somebody couldn't succeed, doesn't mean you won't. i suggest working as hard as you can, giving it your all. someone once told me, "Do the BEST you can and that will be good enough." If you want something bad enough you will work and work and work at it until you get it. doesn't mean you will get it the first time, but with perseverance, your dreams will happen.
thanx so much i'm determined and willing to give my all and more, plus i know working hard is a must.

Absolutely. I've found that people freak themselves out too much by listening to other people talk of their failure or how hard things were for them. Don't do that. Just commit to what you want to accomplish and put your all into it. Don't fret about it - just take control of it. Make a plan for how you will study, get organized, do things that will make you feel comfortable about your studies. You can do it. You absolutely 100% can do it.
Thnaks very much for the encouragemnt.

Just apply and see. Be confident that you are just as good to get a spot. Good luck to you.
