agreed, I was not sure how much info i could/should publish..
subject to talk about with pt...how other nurses have approached clients with late stage als...how to deal with family members...end of life care...how others are dealing with end stage ALS pts on hospice...dealing with the talkboxes...dealing with a mind that is whole but completely (or nearly) separated from the body...when do we let them give up...how do we tell the family that they are ready...when do I let go of my personal biased to "fix and heal"...I can go on...
here is what i was looking for but I thought of some myself: non verbal cues that you should develop with your pt. please add any that you consider relevant
