almost that time...

I am getting ready for my second attempt at NCLEX RN, I used Kaplan on demand again and my scores are:

Diagnostic: 68

QT5: 63

QT6: 71

QT7: 71

Sample test 1: 68

sample test 2: 69

sample test 3: 32

sample test 4: 87

Qbank...65% with 75% complete

My scores have greatly improved since first time, but I'm praying that it's not just because I memorized the material ??? What do you all think? I did do the NCLEX 3500 practice tests and have gotten an average of about 64%-73%. I am also much more calm this time around?? I was an absolute nightmare to be around the first time I tested ...I'm nervous, but feel very much at ease this time around. Not sure why....I'm sure panic mode will kick in soon though!!

Great scores! I'm not sure how good you are at retaining/memorizing, but I know for me, it is almost like I never looked through questions. I did Kaplan and when I went back to re-do a set of 75, I was thinking to myself- I've done this before?! Be confident, don't overprepare the last couple days. You got this in the bag!

Stop worrying so much and start thinking positive thoughts. Believe in yourself and all that hard work you have done. You are going to pass the NCLEX. Now tell yourself that you are going to pass and start believing it because it will happen. Don't let yourself get caught up in the "what if's" game. Time to reap what you have sewn. You have a job to do so you will get through this last thing that is keeping you from it (test) and then begin helping all those people you are going to come in contact with through your years of being a licensed nurse. God bless you and I will be watching for your post about you passing.
