Thanks, I'll give it a looksee.

Guardian Angel Nursing is hiring. I don't know a whole lot about them but they are in the same building that I work for (Central Home Oxygen) they seem to be good but i don't know specific details or anything. I can give you the number for central and they can transfer you over to them it's 1-888-668-7670. They will mail you the info or you can speak to someone right then. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much!

i've been working thru prime care for 6 years now....great agency to work for...i've never had a problem with the pay, direct deposit every wed...i've heard of other nurses having pay problems with some agencies...you can almost get all the overtime you can stand, especially in north central ms...call 'em up @ 1-800-844-4298..

Hey,

How much experience do you have to have before you can work for them? Do they provide housing?

Bump

I know several people who work for Preferred Nursing Service in Jackson. They come to our hospital and are generally well liked.

Wow, thanks for the responses.

Just started looking @ the Ms forums. American Nursing has an agency in Gulfport but they also have a travel division out of Metarie, La. I work for them when I'm at home. There are travel agencies that have assignments to MS, but the pay is crappy, but then remember you're dealing with MS. but if you're interested in traveling from home within the state, it probably pays a couple of dollars more than hospital staffing, plus you get the housing stipend, as long as it's over 50 miles from home. I'm a travel nurse, so it's funny when I have agencies call me to work at home. I tell them I wouldn't even roll out of bed for what they want to offer me. But again, it's better pay than as a hospital staffer, if you're wanting to stay in MS.:monkeydance:
