After the NCLEX

Ok, I just found this site today while searching for anything on "After the NCLEX." What an excellent resource! I wish I had found it much sooner!

I took my NCLEX this morning and am basically a nervous wreck right now. I know I should just relax and take it easy. There's nothing I can do at this point but wait, but I can't seem to calm down. The test stopped at 75 questions and I have heard conflicting information from different sources...this is a good sign, most of the time if it shuts off at a low number, you have passed....this is a bad sign, if it shuts off at a low number, it indicates failing (I really felt encouraged after my "friend" shared that with me!).

My point is, I guess I will just have to wait and see, but I can't seem to stop worrying about it! Any suggestions on how to get through the next 2 days???!

Hi,

I have read in this website and also heard from friends who just took the NCLEX that alot of people who passed only had 75 questions too. So, I wouldn't worry about the number of questions you had.

I am taking my test tomorrow morning and I am so freaked out that I'll be glad to just get some sleep tonite. I don't know what I'm gonna do to relax in the next few days until the results are posted. I am in CA, and from what I've heard it takes 48 to 72 hours so it could be friday or monday until I find out I guess.

Hang in there, we'll both find out soon enough. Oh, and btw if you happen to think of it send good vibes my way tomorrow.

Good luck and take care,

Carmen

Unfortunately the number does not mean anything. Many people pass and fail at 75.

Hang in there you will soon find out!

I got 75 questions and was sure that I failed but found out 48 hrs later that I had passed.

If you had prepared I bet you passed. Let us know! :nuke:

As said it is just a number, try and go out and relax

Good luck

Okay, I just checked my SBON website and there is a number next to my name effective yesterday (the day I took the test). Does this mean I passed?!!!! OMG!!!!!

Yes!! Congratulations!!

WOW!! that was fast! Congratulations!!! I just took it this morning; arghhh now I know how you felt when you wrote your original post! I was nearly a nervous wreck going in, perturbed through it, and nearly nauseaus afterwards. I am finally home and I feel a little bit less frantic and anxious. Hopefully my results will come back quickly too. It shut off at 75 for me too!!
