Affinity

Hey y’all… can someone tell the website and info on Affinity drug testing?  My order states one drug test per month but I haven’t received a pin or any information yet!  Any info would help!   thank you!

The caseworker you are assigned with the board of nursing should give you the link to create an account with Xfinity. You can download the app to your phone or use the website. I use it in Kentucky and check in daily. It lets me know when I have been selected to test. I have been tested twice in a month and not at all in a month. It is very random. This is because I am a participant in the KARE Program.

Is it OK to take an occasional Benadryl while being tested through affinity? I was with Recovery trek for a couple years before the Board modified my order and HPMP put me on warning status for taking a benadryl once.  Thank goodness I’m out of HPMP.  Just wondering if Affinity flags you for taking a benadryl?

I guess it depends on your agreement with the board of nursing. The Kentucky Board of Nursing requires that all prescriptions and over-the-counter medications  be signed off by your validated primary care provider. I have a list of prescriptions and I also have a list of over-the-counter medications including acetaminophen and Benadryl. I don’t think they test for Benadryl as a matter of course but they do have the ability to do so. It is easier to just get permission from your primary care provider for any over-the-counter medications on the front end. Then if you happen to take it and it shows up on the screen you were already covered and don’t have to worry about it.
