HI

I am considering a nursing assistant training job at a nursing home. THey do not pay much as you learn but after you are certified starting pay is 10/hr with full benefits after 90 days. Then after a year they offer a nursing scholorship and you can work weekends. I have 2 kids one still in preschool. Not sure if I should take it work towards the scholorship for next fall? I currently work part time as a vet asst 2-7 four days a week and Sat mornings and make alot more per hour. So I would be getting less per hour but more hours so that might be close to what I bring home. But I would do it for the scholorship. I am not sure if I should put my family thru this or wait until my youngest is in school full time. I could also work 3rd shift make more money, be able to take them and pick them up at school and work while they sleep. ANd I sleep while they are at school. While working towards my nursing degree. Any advise would be helpful

My advise is stay where you are at, you are making more money and you will have more time with your family.
