I know I might get a lot of bad feed back from this but here goes any way. I have been out of work since of October of 2009 I have been offered a travel assignment that is 3hrs from my home I have traveled before that does not scare me but I just don't have a good feeling about. I was offered the position with out interview on there part and I interviewed them today. The pay is 26hr (I am in Florida so that normal) I was told pt to staff ratio is 1:5 will be day shift (which I have never done before). The hospital name is The Villages which is about 25 miles from Leesburg Florida. My last hospital I worked at was an HCA facility do I need to say more. Should I bite the bullet (its only 13 weeks) and be thankful that I have been offered a job or hope something else closer to home comes along? I just need advise I feel like I am missing my children growing up. My daughter is a Freshman in high school and my son just started middle school. Advice any one?
