Which books are best for studying?

How long does the average pre-nursing student typically spend to study for this exam?

I spent about 2-3 weeks. I used the book from ati-Teas version 5. You can get it from here Version V - ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS V) Study Package or buy it from amazon.

Hello! I just took the TEAS today and scored a 88.7. I am really happy with my score but I studied very hard prior to the test. I highly recommend buying the study guide and online practice tests from ATI. That's what I used and I studied for about 6 weeks. Now I work full time so if you work part time you can probably take less time to study. WARNING: the science section on the test is ridiculous and not covered well in the ATI study guide. It is very heavy with chemistry. So you might want to use a chem textbook or something to review. I scored 83.3 on the science and that was my lowest score of all the sections. I hope this helps! Let me know if I can answer anything else :)

I didn't study at all, took the exam on 24 hour notice and got a 90.

I know people who have done similar, and I also know people who have studied for weeks to get a 75. I honestly think the whole thing is a crap shoot.
