graduated 12 years ago....have taken the local board exam twice but never passed it, got disappointed, depressed and everything. now i'm planning to take it again but having second thoughts bec of the leakage issue thing. i was thinking...can i take the cgfns w/o passing the local board or maybe nclex since i'm planning to work abroad not here in the philippines? please give me some advice. i have no idea how to pick up the pieces and start anew. thanks.

you can take NCLEX without the local board....but please take a good review of fundamental nursing as it will really help you pass NCLEX.

you can take the NCLEX even without passing the local licensure exam, there are some states here that do not require CGFNS when you apply for the state boards.
