Advice on the math portion of teas 6

Hey guys. My teas vi test is on Dec 23. I am just kind of curious as to whether formulas for area and perimeter will be provided, as well as conversion units? Also on the practice tests that I bought on the ATI website, some perimeter and area formulas were not given. Just wondering if I should memorize the basic formulas.

Thanks you for your advice and help.

Hi,

Well perimeter and area are the simplest formulas in math. P = S1 + S2 ... + Sn (S - side, n - number of sides), and A = LxW (L - length, and W - width). I am pretty sure formulas this simple will not be provided and you will have to memorize them. Since we are talking about simple formulas, also, go over the formulas for triangle area, circle area, volume, etc. In terms of harder formulas, I have seem some versions/tests do provide them, while others do not. For example, on one practice TEAS I had to calculate the temp in C, when only given temp in F. And the formula was not even provided!!! My best advice is, brush up on as many formulas as you can!

My concern is out of the 3 practice test. I watched a math portion they put a 4RPie Symbol for Surface area of a sphere

The calculator people have been saying it's not on the computer for the test or too hard to use

Freaking out tomorrow is my test. Haven't taken a math class in a long time. Took a week of pre calc over the summer before dropping out.

Hello,

I am scheduled to take my test Thursday and just wanted to know your insight on the test.

How was the test? Was it as complicated as everyone is saying?
