I am a 19 year old looking to become a nurse. I have begun my pre-reqs but I've never been a top notch student and have struggled a bit for the past year. I managed a B in my A+P I course last semester but things aren't looking up this semester for A+P II. I may potentially fail. How are my chances looking for getting into an ADN program at this point? I'm aiming for an ADN at the moment. I know I want to be a nurse and no other careers seems as rewarding as this when it comes to helping people, in my eyes at least. If anyone out there knows how I can keep a positive outlook in my choice please let me know.

Take a look at all the schools in your area. Find out the requirements for each one and if there is a waiting list. Surprisingly, some BSN schools had lower requirements and managed to accept students quicker than my ADN school I went to. So you're not automatically out of the game. Some people go the LPN to RN route too as a sort of 2nd chance and because they may be accepted quicker. My friend failed out of the RN program (we started the same time) and he became an LPN instead. He is finishing up his RN classes now and is set to graduate in May.
