I went online for a little bit today just to see what kind of jobs there were out there. Is it me or are there not that many jobs avaliable for ADN's? Most of all the results require a minimum education of a BSN. I have some time to go before I graduate, but it kinda scares me. Nursing is in demand, but are ADN's in demand or >BSN? :uhoh21:

Every person I know in my school's graduating class this year has had multiple offers of employment (I know about 15 people in the class)--and they havent even graduated yet. Yes, there are plenty of ADN jobs! But it does matter what part of the country you are looking in...Ask your school how many students have been placed in this springs graduating class. :)

I worked my way up the ladder from staff nurse to Director of Nursing. So yes there are opportunities out there.
