Have any of you gotten your ADN after getting a Bachelors in another field? I want to know how long it takes to do the ADN-BSN route if you already have a BS degree in another field...

Actually, I have 2 bachelor's - and now an ADN (as usual, had to do things in reverse.) The first 2 degrees were in Music and then Physical Therapy.
I start school in January for an MSN.
As far as applicability to the ADN program: only some of the prerequisites applied, so it really didn't make a difference in time to completion or anything like that.
I was able to transfer credits for English composition, a communications class, Trigonometry, A & P, and one for history. Neither of my courses in infectious diseases or pathophysiology transferred. Go figure.
So, in an attempt to answer your question: Some of the pre-requisites were met, but none of the 2 year curriculum (Nursing) part. At least that's how it is here in the Tampa Bay area of Florida.
Hope this helps :-)

I did.
BSN program for 2 1/2 years and dropped out to get married.
Finished a BA while hubby in service.
Got back here and got ADN by taking 2 Med/Surg courses and a Peds/OB. 2 Semesters part time and 1 summer session.
