ADN or ABSN

All, I am taking my prereqs and debating whether to start an ADN at my local (current) community college or pursue ABSN at state school here. I am the primary income earner in my family (have husband and two kids, work in finance from home now) and will need to consider how this could impact my ability to survive the 16 months if choosing ABSN. Alternatively I’m thinking I could hopefully still work FT if doing ADN (again hopefully, or at least PT in healthcare) so that income and health insurance won’t be an issue. Anyone had similar issues and how/what have you decided? If not working (or just very PRN) in ABSN, my $$ would be from loans, IRA, tax refunds and investments/market. Thanks!
