Administration at LTC?

Published

I love the facility I work at and I LOVE my residents and have the best co-workers I could ask for on my afternoon shift. The only problem is the administration at my facility. They aren't approachable and just don't have very friendly personalities. They make me nervous and they can never crack a smile at anyone it seems except each other. I work part time and they call me non-stop to come into work, and I realized this week I accidentally accepted too much work last week and will have some overtime, and all I can think of is how they are probably going to be mad at me because they yelled at another girl for overtime from being called in. It's not even a full shift's worth of overtime, but I do have some. I want to switch jobs just because I constantly feel nervous around them, like at any second they are going to yell at me for something. They chose a girl hired after me to give more regular hours (I asked for more hours back in November) and I just don't feel they like me and I don't know why. I'm quiet, reliable to come into work when they need me, I'm always on time, if anything, early, and I get along really well with everyone. Anyone else have issues with administration at their facility?

That's crazy they would be upset about OT when you're being called in!!
