I'm taking ACLS on Thursday and didn't get around to buying the book. Do you know of any good online resources to look over the alogarithms. I've taken the class several times so I just need a quick refresher before the class.

There is a CD that comes with the book. You are supposed to access the online test, print off the score, then bring that along with a checklist to the class. If you were enrolled in one of our classes you would be turned back at the door. AHA requires this info. If you took ACLS Heartcode Anywhere online you would have access to the information, so I assume you are doing a traditional class. You better find a book ASAP -------------

Do a google image search for ACLS protocols -- lots of scanned copies of the protocol cards out there.
The pretest is available to us through our hospital intranet. I have printed that off and will have it with me when I go. That is all that is required of me. From my experience most of the renewal class does not purchase the book. I have a book from my very first class but don't intend to rebuy one every time it is updated. I'm glad my hospital is not as strict and crappy as yours. I intend to know the information I need to and probably already know 90% of it....I didn't appreciate the rude response.
Thank you for the helpful answers!

bj, I with you on this one. The response was not very nice or professional.

I just took ACLS our instructers where very nice. The people who did not have the pretest they let them turn it in later it should not be that big of a deal.
