I have applied to SRMC's Fall 2010 Semester, and was wondering how competitive they are? I'm killing myself with worry because they really are my only option. I have A's on all my Pre req's but people have been spreading rumors around that a lot of people are being wait listed and I'm not sure if that is true? Do either of you have any info?
Hello
I asked what was the lowest for my class and they said 2.5. Have you applied at JTCC or JSRCC? I don't want to bash the school, but I will tell you this make SRMC you LAST choice. Ask them what their drop rate fail rate is and you will be shocked.
Are your classes large? I have checked the other schools and decided agaisnt them because of the distance issue. I heard they accept 40 students a semester, do you feel the classes are that large?
Apparently you need 15 post to be able to PM and I'm not quite there. Thanks for the helpful advice, please don't think me rude for not replying. I truly appreciate your opinions. Hope to see y'all this coming Fall!!
Good Luck! Hope to see you this fall!
Great news!! I received my acceptance letter today!!!
Congrats!:yeah:I'll see you at Friends and Family Night in a couple months!
Hey girls! I was wondering if either of you could give me a basic schedule, class hours, of what my classes will be like. My 5 year old is starting kindergarten this year:*( So I am just trying to figure out how I am going to juggle her schedule as well. Thanks for all your help!

Congrats on your acceptance! I was accepted for Spring 2010, but had to delay until Fall 2010 due to having a baby. I am still trying to choose between schools... Still got another week before I have to make a choice... Yikes!
You can plan on having classes Mon-Thus from 8:30-3:30. This varies from day-day. Sometimes we get done at 12, sometimes 10, sometimes we get stuck a little later than 3:30. Once you start clinicals you have to be at the hospital at 6:45am, then you leave between 3-3:30. I would say that the majority of my current class has children so I'm sure it's possible to do!
