hi everyone! earlier this spring, in march, i was informed that i was accepted into the pn program i applied to!
i am very excited, and cannot wait to begin this journey. i have been a cna for 7 years, but i worked as a 'resident assistant' for a few years prior to my official nc state cna exam. my mother has been a nurse for 35 years, i knew i wanted to be a nurse since i was 5.
i live in charlotte nc, and i was accepted at gaston college, in gaston county. i have already fully completed my pre req's, 3.8 gpa, so the only classes i will need to take are my actual nursing classes.
my program will cost 3,876$ at gaston college, which is a community college. i have my orientation on may 26th, and then i begin classes in august.
i am looking forward to the next year, and i hope to use this site as a resource for support. my fiance' is very supportive, he understands what nursing school entails, and he is excited for me.
:)
