Hello nurses!! I'm going thru one of the most darkest times of my life ,I have 9 years of experience as a Staff Nurse,I understood that I was in need of a change and took the desicion of start working at a level 2 trauma ED.At the beginning everything was peaches and cream, however after 6 weeks of orientation this job has become a living hell ,I feel scare most of the time,I'm having panic attacks and also contemplated the idea of walk out and forget about nursing.I spoke with my supervisor twice and let her know about my concerns,no answer.This is the first time I have to go thru this,my licence has never been in jeopardize like now in this job,I don't know what to do,any thoughts?

PP is correct. EAP is a great resource. You may also want to speak with an appropriate HR rep... most organizations have at least one person who is designated to deal with employee issues. They need to know that your supervisor is dropping the ball.
