AAS vs ASN

LPN looking to advance to my RN. I presently live in FL but am from NY I attended HFCN in NY where I started my bridge but did not get to finish. Now I live in central FL and these schools out here want you to jump through hoops to even get enrolled. I am looking for a fast track program in FL. I did see some schools that offered AAS and some that offered ASN. what's the diff? Can anyone recommend a school where I don't have to offer up my first born to become an RN?

Did u consider Excelsior or Jacksonville? I'm FAR from an expert, but I have heard of these schools which are both distance learning bridge programs. I believe Jacksonville is a mixture of both classroom and distance learning, but don't quote me. Anyhow, Just my 2 cents. Hopes this helps.

There are plenty of options that don't involve giving up your first born. It all depends on if you want to go the private or public school route, how much you want to spend and ultimately the degree you want.

If you want a fast track program from LPN to RN, then start looking at private schools and online schools such as Excelsior. I don't know what schools are in your area so can't help you there.
