Hi I am currently in a Medical Coding program and I am taking A and P. Some of the other students here are going for their LPN License. They are over 50 years old. I am right now 50 years old and I spent that last 10 years taking care of my mother who had COPD and Asthma until she passed away in 2010. I was thinking of going for my LPN after she passed away but I wasn't sure if I could do the courses. I am now in A and P and right now my average is 78 (C+) and I have 2 more quizzes, 1 more Exam, and the Final Exam. I want to try for a B-. Do you think I am doing good enough that I could enter the LPN Program this fall at my community college?

The colleges near me require a C+ in all science and nursing courses to get in/remain in the program. Good luck, you can still pull that C+ up to a B- with a lot of studying :)

Most colleges require at least a C in all science and nursing courses as well. I am in the same boat, I am trying to raise it up to a B as well. Just study, study, study!:)
