why is it so difficult for some nurses here in the philippines to find a job? that's why most of the newly licensed nurse are applying to other job (call center, fastfoods, departments store, etc.)

what can you advised for those who lose hope in taking to continue their careers in nursing?

thanks guys!!!

This is something that needs to be put forth to your government. When they are turning out so many nurses that will never have a chance to work in the field, blame it on them.

At the last records that I saw last summer, there were over 632,000 enrolled in nursing schools there and many of the programs just are not producing nurses that can pass the exams in the first place,

There is no way that your country can use that many nurses and most other countries do not have the space for them either. And this is just a number of those that are in school, not those that are out of school for sometime.

There are already multiple threads on this same topic.

On the other hand, if you are willing to work on an out-lying province, they you will not have difficulties in getting a job. They have many there, but most want Manila or the surrounding areas.

i myself worked for more than a month in a call center last year

i quit because i got bored with the routine although the pay is good:yawn:
