Schedules like this....

Can anyone relate to this?

Get a call from work at 10:00 saying they have a new client that will be coming home from the hospital can I take a shift from 3:00-9:00.

Say sure then call my mom so she can pick up the kids and have dinner at her house.

12:00 work calls and says that he will not be back as soon as they thought and I could come in at 4:30

Ok call mom back and say I can pick up the kids and I will be bringing them to her house later.

Work Calls at 2:00 and says hospital sees something they do not like, and they don't want to release him so the shift is canceled.

Call mom back again and say never mind!! :whistling:

Yup! I can sure relate! It's one of the reasons I don't do home care anymore.

Yes I just keep thanking God my child care is my mom. Couldn't think of what any other person that was my childrens care taker would be thinking or want to do to me after a day like today. Yikes!!
