I hope guys that you can help me on my query:

1.Just want to ask if it is lot easier to go on our own when applying for a job abroad? (having a tourist visa).

2.How long (estimate) will a fresh graduate be given an opportunity to work abroad...given that he/she passes the exam on his/her 1st take.

Have lot of questions but these 2 will be a big help for me.

Working abroad where???? in the US? or another country?

If you are talking about the US, there are no temporary work permits for nurses, only permanent residency cards offered.

where you live now would also help as new rules are coming in I believe which could affect any plans you may have.

US State Department will start to limit the number of immigrant visas next year. If you live in an affected country like the Philippines, India and china then there could be a delay of two to three years for your petition to be approved and be given a visa.. If you live in other countries not affected by the new visa rules then you can get into the US for period of one to two years from the date your petition is filed at the INS.
