Does anyone know if the OU Children's Hospital offers nurse externships? And what the requirements are? And is their any other hospitals with NICU'S that offer one?? Thank you very much.

Integris Baptis Medical Center offers nurse externships, although I imagine that ultra-competitive specialties such as the NICU might generate hundreds of applications for only a few spots.

Since OU Medical Center is a teaching facility, I am almost certain they offer nurse externships too. However, OU Medical Center had a waiting list for specialties that were regarded as competitive.

You could call the recruiter. You could also look at the job postings on the websites of the various OKC-area hospitals at least every other day to scan for any externship spots that may be posted.
