Did you get Grad. photos taken?

Hi,

Just wondering how many of you LPN's and RN's had professional photos done at graduation. Did you have to wear a specific type of uniform?

Thanks!!

That question brings back bad memories!

Half the class wanted cap and gowns, the other half nursing cap and white uniforms.

We wound up in white uniforms and the nurses cap. Alberta LPN's get pink velvet ribbons. Nice. Actually had one show up in white 3inch heels with her uniform after we got the "lecture" about wearing professional shoes with dresses if we chose to wear dresses. Looked like she was heading to a costume party.

We had a group picture taken. They announced just as we were assembling that we had to pay on the spot if we wanted a copy. I think it was around $30. Nobody had much cash on them. Bit of a disaster.

A couple took themselves to Walmart and got the whites and red roses pictures done. The photographer the school arranged was just too expensive.

So, if you have a grad commitee, sort this one out fast....

Thank you so much for your message fiona. I was actually thinking of forming some kind of grad committee, because i certainly don't want alot of 'hoopla' at graduation. By the way which LPN school did you attend? If you don't mind me asking. I'm attending northern lakes college.

Take care,

dee :)
