Hi,

I am about to apply to the January intake as well, but I am really worried about my gpa. It is only 3.3; I don't know how competitive that is. May I ask what gpa you applied with? Any advice would help.

hey....i applied with already having a degree my cgpa was 3.2 and my upper division gpa was 3.5. However the pre-req classes i had biology 1190/1191 (A- in both), Statistics (B+), english (A-), and for the two other university transferable courses the took 2 health science courses in which i had an A and a B+ in. So not sure what they looked at when they offered me a seat but hope that helps and goodluck!

Thanks for your insight, it really gives me an idea of where I stand. Unfortunately, I am applying very last minute. When did they offer you a seat? I emailed the adviser and she said that they look at your CGPA, meaning that all your classes are considered in your GPA.

Dont worry, I applied really late too (in Sept) and i got in. My cGPA was horrible after graduating from Life Sciences at UofT. You really never know what they look for! Good luck!

Hi, I'm just finishing up my pre-req's at langara right now, I'm just curious how high of a GPA do you think is good enough?

I think that by the end of this semester I'll have a 3.33 or 3.34 or somewhere around there, is that okay?

Also, you said something about your upper-gpa? what's the difference?

Suuuuper nervous that my GPA won't be good enough!!!

Any advice would be appreciated!!
