Thanks Heather! The funny thing is I just found out 2 days ago I got accepted into Langara's nursing program here in Vancouver. It came as a complete shock, but a good one :)

They have changed their intake process, but those of us who applied before the change will still be kept on the waitlist and accepted when a seat becomes available.

Hi, I wanted to start this thread to see who else would be going to Camosun for nursing in September 2013. It is a waitlist system so basically I know I am guaranteed to be accepted. I am from Vancouver so moving to Victoria would be a big change and costing me a lot. I wanted to see if anyone else is going to be going there? Or if anyone living in Vancouver is? Also, do you think I should continue trying to get in in the Vancouver region? Any questions, thoughts and answers are welcome. I hope to hear back and get a better idea as in what I would like to do and what others are doing who are in a similar situation. Thanks! :)

Thanks for your insight, it really gives me an idea of where I stand. Unfortunately, I am applying very last minute. When did they offer you a seat? I emailed the adviser and she said that they look at your CGPA, meaning that all your classes are considered in your GPA.

Hi, I am about to apply to the January intake as well, but I am really worried about my gpa. It is only 3.3; I don't know how competitive that is. May I ask what gpa you applied with? Any advice would help.

Hi, I just want to wish everyone best of luck! I am also interested in applying to UFV but the for September 2013 intake. But I had one question, does anyone know if they consider your English 12 class mark blended with the provincial mark or only consider the class mark?
