Hello dear ICU Nurses,

Please excuse me for invading your space, but I am a new medical librarian and have found your discussions a *treasure trove* for sources of critical care information. I am trying to serve our ICU with the best information possible, so I truly appreciate your discussions.

Would anyone know of a good IV med book that is appropriate for the ICU/critical care setting? I have found Gahart's IV Medications, but was wondering if there was another, preferred source. Our ICU nurse manager was looking for one which is not in the "pocket manual" style.

I just purchased the twenty-first edition of Intravenous Medications (2005) by Betty L. Gahart and Adrienne R. Nazareno.

Love it. It's packed.

The ISBN is 0-323-02414-9

The only thing I haven't liked about this particular book over the years is that it's spiral bound with really thin pages.

But I still love it!
