Alcohol-based hand rub use while pregnant

Hi all! Have a little dilemma that I would greatly appreciate some input on. I am 19 weeks pregnant and work as a Home Health RN. Obviously, being on the go, we practically only use hand alcohol hand rubs and use it constantly throughout the day. It didn't occur to me until today...do I need to concerned about using this while pregnant? I know that the alcohol can't be absorbed through adult skin; I am more concerned about what is inhaled. On most occasions when using it I can smell it/inhale it sometimes to the point where it makes you cough...can this be harmful to baby? If it helps we use "Endure 320 advanced care". Thanks so much!

Hi and congratulations on your pregnancy.

This is something you need to pose to your OB. We can't advise you on this.

We hope you have an uneventful delivery and a healthy baby.
