ODU CRNA program

Does anyone know the details on Old Dominion University losing accreditation?

Featured Replies

According to the ANAA website, ODU's program was put on probation starting January 29, 2010 and according to ODU's website "We are currently accepting applications for Fall 2011. Application deadline is February 1, 2011. Although we are hopeful of admitting a class in Fall 2011, the final decision to admit a class for Fall 2011 will be determined and posted on the website in accordance with recommendations for accreditation that result from the January 2011 meeting of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs."

This is sad to hear, especially because it is my alma mater.

Old Dominion's Nurse Anesthesia Program is great. They have all new faculty and a new campus. Classes are well taught and fair. I love the program.
