actually it took an entire two months..just got acceptance letter a few days ago.

i took the teas test on 1/11 and I knew within a week that I passed. I have an interview on 2/17, which my friend who did it said it is not really an interview, more of an one on one info session. plus, the higher you score on the test the better chance you have with chosing full day or part time night. I will be doing the day program, get it over quicker. good luck

Thanks, good luck to you too! Had my interview this past Tuesday. I will be doing the night program since I have little ones.

Hello, how was the test, I'm scheduled for March 12 2011, i have studied yet. I am pretty poor in math, what pointers can you give me? I really need this pass I have been trying to find what i wanted to do for a while so I found it. what book do you think i should study for the test and how often?

I didnt think the test was that bad, but I also tutored a friend for it, so i decided i did not need the prep course. the math goes up to algebra, percentages, fractions and most questions I felt were metric conversions. the reading was not what I expected. thought it would be passages, but it was more reading labels on medication bottles and answering questions. hope that helps. good luck

This is for the BOCES exam?? Wow! I really bd in math and I called a tutor and he told me that he doesn't think that I will pass because I shoiuld have been studying for like 6months. I feel so discouraged. My goal is to get into LPN school by sept. I have no other but to get this please any help or words are greatly appreciated. What do you think I should do to make sure I snag a school. I have BOCES in march and VEEB some time this month and 2 other schools in NJ.

Im taking the LPN prep course at Eastern Suffolk Boces and I think its very informative and very helpful especially in math which is my weakness. It also benefits you at the interview if you take the class.

I'm sure it is? When are you taking your test sweetness631, I work and I didn't see schedule that would apply to mine

my friend took the teas test and did not pass on math, so they sent her for the prep class. i tutored her here and there during work time while she took the test. and she passed with a much higher score the second time.

I went for the interview last week and the woman commented on my high scores being a help for the full day which i wanted. havent heard anything yet, just waiting now. they did send me right to financial aid, but they may do that with everyone. i did see the woman who interviewed me check off that she highly recommends me on the bottom of the sheet for the day program. fingers crossed. just waiting.

Can yiu tutor me.

well, i dont mind, but my schedule is a bit crazy. where do you live and when are you free. i work days and my husband works nights, so i would have to work something out for my son. it was easy for the other girl because we took time out of work. I work on the weekend days too sometimes. if we can not work something out I could always email you practice sheets of math problems, that is what i would do with her most of the time. let me know.
