Glendale Community College (CA) Spring 2011

This is my second time applying, since I didn't get in for the fall semester. When I applied they never asked for TEAS scores, they just sent me a letter saying I was qualified but I did not get drawn in the lottery. I got a call from the school last Friday asking me to send my TEAS scores or else take the test yesterday. (Since I'd already taken it and passed I sent the report right away.) Does this mean I got drawn in the lottery?

No, but you're still on the running for their lottery if you scored 67% or above on the TEAS test

DId they tell you when they might be sending out notifications? I took the TEAS on October 25th, but I haven't heard anything yet. They told me that their final day of testing was Nov 5th. Has anyone received an acceptance or denial letter yet?

I didn't think to ask them. The posts from a year ago said that people were getting letters around November 15th, so I'm going to start looking for mine in the mail this week. The only other school that I've heard was sending letters already is PCC. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I noticed, as well, that last year's applicants received notification around this time. I hope we both find out soon. Good luck to you as well!!

I just called the college and asked them when we could expect notification of acceptance for spring 2011; she told me ,"hopefully by next week, we will have all the letters mailed out". I hate this waiting game!

Thanks for calling, at least now there is an end in sight. Did you apply anywhere else? I'm still waiting to hear from LA County and Moorpark. The waiting is awful, I agree.

Did anyone else get their notification letter from Glendale College today? I was not selected for the Spring 2011 class, but they will keep my application on file for Fall 2011. Good luck to everyone else! Still waiting to hear from LA County and Moorpark...

I got my denial letter from GCC today. I'm going to keep my application active for Fall 2011.

I just got in to the standard Schedule. :yeah:

I'm sorry for those who didn't get in.

Congrats to you! When do you start? Is this your first time applying?

Femmebot, were you accepted at Glendale?

Wasn't selected for GCC. Waiting for notifications from PCC and LA County now.
