NYU College of Nursing as a Transfer

Hello,

I'm going to Hunter College right now for pre-nursing. I'll be finished with all my pre-reqs in two years when I'll hopefully be going to Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing. However after reading reviews about how hard it is to get in I really want to keep my options open so I was wondering if I finish all my pre-reqs at Hunter College when I apply to their school of Nursing can I also apply to NYU College of Nursing? And then go to NYU for my last two years. I know some schools make you do the pre-reqs at their school, hopefully not with NYU! Any other info on NYU's College of Nursing would be greatly appreciated. (how hard it is to get in, what they look at (grades, nursing exams, volunteer work, letters of recomendation))

Thanks for any info,

Emma

I can't tell you much but my friend transferred in to NYU for her last two years of nursing from another school and the only pre-reqs she had to take at NYU was the ones that she didn't take before (Nutrition wasn't required for our nursing program). Her gpa was about a 3.4-3.5 which looked good. NYU doesn't have any nursing entrance exam from what I heard but they do letters of recommendation and I think they require a personal statement.
