Newbie whos taking test 7/15/2010

Good Evening!

I have a few questions. I will be taking my CNA exam in Kansas. Any advice would be appreciated!!

1. Is the test scantron or is it done by computer?

2. How many can I miss?

3. What key points should I study?

4. When will I find out if I passed?

5. Any advice??

Thank you all in advance!!

this is how it went for me about 5 months ago. i live in iowa so it might not be the same.

1. computer

2. depends on how many questions there is. i think you have to get at least 77% or something like that. a passing grade.

3. patients rights, and pretty much everything

4. i found out that same day

5. dont think the computer test will be easy, mine wasnt and had things on there we didnt even study. use common sense and go with your gut instinct. review everything before you take that test!!!!

thank you for replying!

My answers are the same for 1-4 but I have to say, our test here in NC was ridiculously easy. Our instructor said she has NEVER had anyone fail it.

Thank you . I found out here in KS they are scantron (paper), 100 questions. So I feel a bit more at ease knowing what I am walking into. Thank you all who replied. One thing I am not looking forward to is the wait, I will have to wait 3-4 weeks until I know if I passed or not..This is what I heard not sure if it is true or not....
