Which version of the BKAT are they having you take?

Sorry it took me so long to reply. The test is version 6. Thanks for any assitance you can provide. :)

Answers and where to look for them depend upon the version. But basically AACNs Critical Procedure manual would be a good place to get some of your answers. I just took the BCAT (version 5 I think) and it was a "beech" of a test, especially as I have not had much hands on with swanz and I did not like some of the rationales for some of the answers but Hey! I had the same problem with the NCLEX!!!! lol lol lol

Does anyone have a copy of the BKAT 5-S version and the answers???

from what i've gathered, BKAT is not so much a hiring tool, but a "where do u stand" tool.. i wouldn't worry about it, although we all want to do well.. u will learn what u don't know.. remember, the orientation is exactly that.. definitely speak up as to what u don't know.. you are taking care of people who need your help.. and it does help to know what you are doing.. BKAT, just a measure.. NEVER be reluctant to ask for help or information.. i have doctors who ask me for help.. (whatever that means!!) lol - : )
