You're majoring in nursing?...then your guranteed a job!
Everytime someone asks me what I major in in college and I say nursing,the first thing that comes out of his or her mouth is "Oh that's good! You're guranteed a job!" For a long time I agreed with that until I realized that nothing in life is guranteed and the way this economy is going a lot of hospitals are doing a hiring freeze. I'm so excited about starting nursing school soon, but its also a bittersweet moment because I'm afraid that once I graduate I won't be able to find a job. For you recent Michigan nursing grads, are you all finding it hard to find employment in MI and do you think that finding employment will get better or worse this new year?
