Take an ad out for your services and try Craigslist.

I have been wondering about this myself. Can you legally advertise your services as a nurse?? I am an LPN and was under the impression that the care we give to our patients must be under the supervision of an RN or Doctor, how does this affect someone looking to provide private nursing care?? I would definatley consider this, just didn't think i could. Anyone with any info on the subject???

I thought you had to have supervision of RN and Doctor?..If I can work for myself in private practice I would love that.. anyone know about this?

I think the OP is looking for information on private duty nursing jobs. I can't help, but if she does some research on the internet, she should be able to come up with some companies that do hospice, home health and private duty and get specific information from them.
