UPMC First Year salary and tuition

I was curious if anyone out there works for upmc and what they got paid starting, and will they offer any tuition relief towards further or previous schooling if you didn't go to nursing school through them?

Hi, I'm a nurse at UPMC. They typically pay around $20/hr for new grads (I think it's either $.50/$1hr more if you have a BSN). I am not familar with any sort of asistance they offer to pay for previous schooling.

That reply was really fast, thanks! Do you know they offer anything towards future schooling? Just curious about raises and stuff like that. Planning to be a nurse for about 2 years and hopefully get into graduate school.

If you are working full-time, you can get $3500 per year for school. Some schools in the area (Chatham for sure, and possibly Carlow) will also give discounts to UPMC employees.

Was planning to do slippery rock becuase I already went there I was going to be a SR this year in exercise science. I guess credits probably transfer anywhere. Just know I only needed to take my nursing courses there. Really appriciate the info.
