People who got in to CCP....

What was your point score? I know that they take 9, 8, 7 and *sometimes* 6, but I'm just wondering how likely you are to get in with a 7. I know it varies year by year but they were pretty vague about the exact numbers.

Also- was the test bad? They changed it this year so that everyone applying has to take it. I'm fine with the subjects, but I get anxious when I'm timed and it seems like there are a lot of questions for a short amount of time.

I had 9 pts (or maybe 8?), but I guess that doesn't answer your question really. I really don't believe that anyone gets in with 6pts even though they say *maybe* There are just too many applicants for that to happen. I can think of one classmate that says he had 7 pts, so I guess they do admit some 7's. I would suggest you apply early if you think you might have 7pts. I'd assume that they choose the last spots (7pt people) in order of applying, though I can't say for sure obviously.

The test was not bad in my opinion. I didn't get to finish the math section, there is very little time, and you have to move quickly. But I still got 26 pts on the test, so not finishing didn't have too much of an impact. Keep in mind I took the test in 2006, so it may have changed...

how long before you recieve an acceptance letter.

I hear they go out late February and early March. How did you do on the AHT?

I will find out this afternoon (11/17/08). I meet with Judy Davidson. I will definetly blog you when I get in this evening. I appreciate your concern.
