Anyone familiar with these Alabama children's hospitals?

Hey,

Have any of y'all worked or have any opinions/etc. about these hosptials:

Children's Health System (Birmingham, Alabama)

or

Children's and Women's Hospital (Mobile, Alabama)?

If so, I'd like to hear your opinions. Thanks!

Kristi

I had a child in Children's in Birmingham about 12 years ago. I am sure it has changed a LOT since then. At the time, I wasn't terribly impressed...they didn't have much to offer the kids (like play areas and such) considering they were pediatric. We also had a bad experience with a nurse and an intern there. However, they did take excellent care of my baby for the most part.

No personal experience, but a classmate in my graduate program works in the special care unit at Childrens' in Birmingham, and she LOVES it. She has been there almost 2 years now.

I also know a nurse who works flexi and their ED and enjoys working there.
