I haven't heard anyone mention that they are going to the NSNA convention in Kansas City in a few weeks.

I am the VP for the first semster students for our local chapter and we are planning on being there. Is there anyone out there going too?

I am so excited but I'm not sure what to expect. If any of you have gone before, give me some imput of what to expect.

You know the funny thing Is I was going to post this very topic but I was going to wait a couple more days to do so. I live in Kansas City and I am now officially registered to go to the convention. I have NEVER been to one before either. So this will be my first one that I will go to. I will go all 3 days because there are SO many interesting things. I also happen to be the President of my school's chapter of the NSNA. We call ours RSNA. The R is the initial for the name of the school I attend.

I am so excited because the faculty memeber that oversees the student chapter has gone several times to the other conventions and she said it Is a VERY WONDERFUL experience for all students.

What is the criteria for attending the convention?

Anyone can attend, you just have to pay for the registration. Our school is paying for 8 of us to go plus faculty.

Peaceful....I am so excited to go too. My instructors helped me pick out the best classes to go to. We are already signed up for the mini NCLEX review. Are you doing that too?

I am a VP for our school. You are awfully young to be a president of a chapter, go to school and have children. I'm not sure how you do it all! WHEW! You're making me tired!
