What do those envelopes mean at the left of the posts?

I have looked through the f.a.q. sections and could not find the answer there...some of the icons look like envelopes, some like purses...some are open, some are closed, some are red.....what does it mean???

Susan,

The legend for what the envelopes mean is located at the bottom of the page of a forum, i.e., student nursing, nursing activism, student nursing, etc.

They usually indicate the number of posts & if the posts have been read or not.

Hope this helps,

Joy

And the dot in the middle of the envelope means that you have posted on that thread. Took me a while to figure that one out. LOL
