Biology CLEP test?

I was wondering if anyone had every looked in to the Biology CLEP test? I took Biology for non-majors a few years ago when I just wanted a liberal studies degree and now need Bio for majors (Cell Bio). I'm wondering if the CLEP test would be the equivalent to the class I've already taken or the one I need. I'm guessing it's probably a general bio credit which wouldn't satisfy what I need. Just trying to find a way to skip that class. It's frustrating because I already have the one Bio class and took A& P as a combined class and now need to take them separately but the college requires Cell Bio as a pre-req.

Check with your counselor to be sure. I took the CLEP for Biology and they took it as General Biology, which was great for me cause that's what I needed. If you do take it I would just review- if you want- basic biology( and study your genetics too, I had 7 of those questions).
