Cant find a RPN job in Ontario :(

I've been actually struggling to find me a RPN job in Toronto For a while now. I had a home health job but I missed one day by calling in sick and the people never called me back for any more training. I recently got another job where it was home health and I went to training and they just told me I didnt have enough knowledge... :( I feel that I cant really find any work out there and keep messing up these interviews. I dont want to work for agencies because of how uncertain they can truly be. I just feel really stupid right now...

Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga is holding a nursing job fair with same-day interviews at Credit Valley Hospital.

It is really hard to get Job in Toronto, either they are looking for 2-3 years experience or something else. Well keep applying , luckily one day you could find one that will suit you.

HI I was reading your previous threads, and I was interested in what you ended up doing for your bridging of RN.

I found that Toronto was and still very competitive. Two nursing agencies hired me as PSW (2015) since I did not have 1 year of RPN experience. But even then there was no guarantee that they would hire you even working as PSW for a year. I met tons of RPN liked me in the same boat.

I left Toronto and went to Hamilton whereby I was recommended at a retirement home (2016) by my classmate/friend in the RPN-RN bridging program (Centennial-Ryerson; 2014-2018). I eventually made it to a hospital (2018) when I did a clinical. I am happy that my friend & me managed to be hired at the hospital. Now trying to be hired as RN.
