I was wondering if you all could recommend some books or materials to me that might be helpful because Im really nervous about this test!

Hello, I am starting my RN program next month and I just took the NET test for my school. I went out I bought the cliff notes book for Nursing school entrance exam and it helped a little. If you use it you'll be over prepared because I had it out to be this horrible long test and when I took it I t was much easier then what I thought. Have you ever taken your SAT's ? the Material is VERY similar to the Nursing school entrance exam. reading comprehension, word analogies, basic math(+- etc..), Fraction problems, percentages and decimals. :) hope the info helps GOOD LUCK! :)

There's a book I used by Mary McDonald made for LPN/LVN pre-entrance testing. This book helped me a great deal. I scored in the 96 percentile. I don't think I would have done that well without this book. Anyway, you can buy it at Barnes and Noble for about $30. However, I would check eBay or Half.com first, since they usually have books pretty reasonable. Good luck to you and if I can answer any more questions, just let me know.

Well do you know what type of Test it is? If its the NET test there is a study guide specifically made for that test written by the same authors who design the NET test. Thank you all so much for the recommendations! I have ordered the 3 books listed here and Im crossing my fingers! Im going to study all 3 along with the ones that I already have. Ive done so much studying already, so Im in hopes that I will do well with this test.
