Failed my NCLEX + PVT

I took my NCLEX on 9/22. I got the full 265 questions. It was AWFUL. I walked out feeling defeated, knowing I most likely failed. I tried the PVT the second I got home, and it took my $200. Bad sign number one. I then went on to spend HOURS online trying to find some hope that the PVT does not work. Well, sadly for me it did. I found out last night I failed.

I am SO SO devastated. I feel discouraged, hopeless and useless. Any tips would be awesome. I have done so much Kaplan my brain is going to explode. I felt like Kaplan was helpful, but the questions I got on my NCLEX were unreal. I don't think anything could have saved me! I just rented the Saunders book, which should be here in a few days. I had a few friends say that an online tutor from Pearson is helpful as well. I just hope I can get out of this funk a back on my feet. Worst. News. Ever.

Any advice is helpful. :(

Hi! please try UWORLD. The questions are very similar with NCLEX, Uworld have harder questions than the actual exam in my opinion. The rationales are amazing :)

I also took the NCLEX 9/26 and it was very difficult. my review materials are Kaplan, Saunders, Lippincott and NCSBN. I also did the pearson vue trick and I got the pop up that said: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled at this time. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I'm not sure if this is the good pop up or not, but I am still praying for good results.

I failed the NCLEX-RN the first time in June. I used Saunders and Kaplan. I did not study as well as I could have and spent a lot of time simply learning content. After failing I was told to use the NCSBN review. However, I did not like it and I thought it was much to content dense. I decided to use Uworld alone. I cannot say enough about this program. The questions look exactly like the NCLEX setup. The questions are mostly priority based which are higher level questions. I did questions all the time. There is an app and I literally was doing questions during any spare minute. The rationales are succinct and very helpful. When I sat for the NCLEX, I remembered some rationales and this became very useful. I passed in 75 questions on 9/14 and I finished the exam in less than 90 minutes. I would also use the free 35 page study guide that is floating around on this site. Just do questions and commit to completing a certain amount each day. The Uworld questions have a higher difficulty than NCLEX questions in my opinion. The next time you will pass.
