I love my new job, except for one physician. All the nurses in our tiny ER complained about her unprofessional conduct at our last meeting. She apparently got a talking to.
Then , my last shift, her previously occasional disrespectful behavior toward me escalated into a harassing, bullying situation, plus patient care/safety issues.
I and the tech separately wrote emails to director of nursing. Meanwhile, the ER doc, turns out, went to DNS and demanded I be fired and her RN friend be rehired (she had quit, but wants to come back), threatening to resign if she doesn't get her way.
Upper management is 100% backing me, gathering evidence (I'm not the only victim of bullying/verbal abuse), and getting ducks in a row.
It's great to work for people like this!
