Is there a way to reach retired nurses?

I'm working with the Red Cross in NYC, and we're trying to reach some retired, still licensed nurses in greater new york to volunteer with Disaster Health Services. Does anyone know of a way to get in touch with the retired nursing population? Thanks!

If they're still licensed, won't their information be available from the state? This is true in the state where I live, at least.

How about placing an ad in that retired people's magazine. I think it's called AARP magazine? Good luck :)
